Your Best Horse Show, A Guide for Managers and Exhibitors

Sydney has been in several horse shows now, and as the "barn mom," I have found them to be a mystery. I try to figure out what I/we are supposed to be doing, listen to her trainer, and be ready with whatever she needs to make it a success. But there is so much that goes into horse shows that I don't understand.
That's why I was glad when Christy Wood of Three Rivers sent us her book, Your Best Horse Show. Christy is a horsewoman with many accomplishments. She owns the Wood āNā Horse Training Stables, travels the world regularly as a champion rider of Appaloosas, trainer for the Wood āNā Horse Show Team and, for nearly two decades, has been an accredited judge for horse shows. In other words, she knows what she is talking about!
This book is very useful for anyone who wants to put on a horse show, but it's also a great guide for those who want to participate in horse shows - and in the case of my daughter - their parents! It shows how much goes into planning and holding a successful horseshow, and gives helpful behind the scenes info for participants and organizers.
