Wild Girl

It is about a Brazilian girl who comes to the US.

The girl's father and her brother came to the US a long time ago and they help at stables. The girl doesn't like the US at first until she meets Wild Girl, a race horse brought to the farm to some day race for them. Soon, the girl realizes that the US is alright and that things need to change.

Love this book! It was very sweet, and I thought the stuff about the foal being scared of the kitten was very funny! It also really shows the challenges immigrants face. I think this is overall an amazing book!!!! 5 stars

Wild Girl is cool. I love it. So, my teacher got it for the classroom library and I am still reading it and it so good. I recommend it.

(P.S. My teacher got it just for me because she knows I love horses. How nice is that?)

I think Wild Girl was an interesting book. I think it was good but not as good as Canterwood Crest or Heartland.

The whole point of the story is this girl who comes from Brazil to America to live with her father, a racehorse trainer. It's about how she finds friends and learns to fit in at her American school.

Summary: When 12 year old Lidie leaves Brazil to join her father and brother on a horse ranch in New York, she has a hard time adjusting to her changed circumstances, as does a new horse that comes to the ranch.

A really good book!! The summary isn't very exciting.. You have to read the book to get a good feel for it. I recommend it to any horse lover who doesn't have a really good horse book to read! :)
