This movie is about the life of Amberley Snyder, a paraplegic barrel racer. She is my absolute role model and watching her movie was amazing!
Amberley was 18. She was driving in her truck and she removed her seatbelt in order to grab a map that was lying next to her in the next seat. She lost focus on the road when she looked down and she slowly drifted into the wrong lane on the highway. She overcorrected when trying to get back into the lane and hit a pole. She rolled her truck and flew out of the car. She hit a pole and instantly lost feeling in her legs. She got driven to the hospital by an ambulance, and the rest you'll find out in the movie!
When she was doing therapy and was asked what her goals were, she responded, "Walk, ride, rodeo."
You should totally watch this movie. The actress that played Amberley was sooo good! She looked exactly like the real Amberley! It's a Netflix original, so you can only watch it on Netflix. I really hope it goes to DVD, though!
