Carrie shares how she made this easy
horse Halloween costume:
How did you make it?Person - Easy... Boots, Sweater with Faux Fur, Helmet with Cardboard Horns, Hair from Felt
Horse - Yellow face paint around eyes, Cardboard Wings and Dragon Tail from Cardboard
Pups - Black Hoodies, Wings from Vinyl Folders, Tails from Plastic Wrap, Eyes Painted from Sunglasses lens
Supplies - Hot Glue Gun, Safety Pins, Zip Ties, Black Spray Paint, Yellow Spray Paint, Black Vinyl Folders, Scissors, 2'x3' yellow felt, $1 Rubber Bats (used for wings - next time use Cutouts from Vinyl Folders)
How much did it cost? Biggest expense was the $4 ea hoodies for the dogs... Total Non-Hoodies cost under $20 Most of the stuff I already had...
Where did you wear it? Chamberlain Dressage Halloween Party
How did people react? Loved it!Especially as we dressed up my pack, too... It was our third year in a row of having a Halloween Party!
How did your horse like it? Would not make the Tail "Wings" quite so large. He whacked himself a time or two - and while he never moved a muscle when doing so... He was a great sport especially because he already has those fun floopy, floppy ears...
