The Winter Horses

The Winter Horses is set in World War II where a young Jewish girl finds refuge in a wildlife reserve.

But soon, a German general shows up and tries to kill all the Prewalske horses. He and his soldiers use machine guns to kill the ancient horses.

All but two die and the girl runs away with them. The soldiers find out and chase after the girl and the horses they try to follow them and kill them but the girl and horses out smart them and find safety with another general from the enemy.
