Well, a stallion called Thowra is born he is named for the wind. (Because he was born in a wild storm wilder than ever.) He was a creamy with a silver mane, And his Dam Belbel is a wise mare and she knew that Thowra would be hunted for he was faster then all other horses and for he's beauty, he was a prize like his sire Yarraman.

Yarraman was king of the cascade Brumbies. Thowra's sire dies because he lost the battle for his heard and throne...... Thowra knew and all other animals knew he would one day become king of cascade brumbies.

P.S. It's also a great horse movie!

Sounds great! I've been looking for it in the libraries, but haven't yet found it. :( I look forward to reading it later on, though.

this is the best book ever! telling the story of a young colt thorwa. he is a very handsome horse who men feel they need to capture. there are also dvd and episodes about the first book that has lots more stories to it.

The Silver Brumby book is about a colt named thowra born in the snowy mountains of Australia. it follows thowra's life all the way through his life. From seeing snow for the first time to being a stallion with a fast growing herd trying to hide from brumby catches. It is a great book and I would recommend it to all horse-loving people, kids or adults. I give this book 4 ½ out of 5.

THE SILVER BRUMBY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is my favorite book ever!
Now I'm obsessed with it!
When I'm doing something that contains horses I pretend I'm a brumby or I call the horse/toy Thowra or storm or BelBel or Mirri or Golden and some other names.
