Part 2 of The Secret by: The Author
I hug Melinda again "I can't thank you enough Melinda!" I grin so big that my face starts to hurt and she smiles. "Here hold Pepper for me, will you? I need to get some stuff for you" Melinda said and handed me Pepper's lead rope. Melinda ran into the stables and when she came back she had her hands full of the things I need for Pepper like her grooming kit, vitamins some hay and lots more. She laughed and said "I' ll help you carry the stuff to your place okay?" I laughed and agreed. When we got to my house Pepper snorted and sniffed the air, getting adjusted to her new home, a small farmhouse and a small paddock that was behind the house. We led her to the paddock behind the house and let her loose in the paddock. I grinned and hugged Malinda again. "Thank you so much Malinda!" She laughed and hugged me back "you're welcome". When Malinda left I got to work. I got a broom and swept out the old shed in the paddock while Pepper grazed on the tiny blades of grass. I grabbed some straw from the pile of stuff Malinda gave me for Pepper and spread it out on the floor of the shed. I grabbed a red bucket, ran to the house and filled it with water from the tap, ran outside and put the bucket in the paddock. Then I hear a car rolling into the driveway..... PART THREE IS COMING!
