The Long Shot

Pros:
Finally a movie about Dressage!(They all seem to be about racing or show jumping.) There were some very good horse scenes. (I just wish there were more.)

Cons:
It's over dramatic.(The main character and her mother aren't speaking, her husband leaves her, she goes broke, she breaks her legs, and her horse goes blind.)

And this one scene where, after her husband leaves her and she has no money and a little girl to take care of, and just got a job, she decides to ride her boss's top show horse in the middle of the night without telling anyone! But when her boss sees her, she doesn't get in trouble at all!

Overall, while this is not the best horse movie in the world, it's a nice flick to watch with your family. (And the only movie about dressage that I know of.)

It is really a wonderful movie, but I would still agree it's pretty sad *SPOILER ALERT!* Why does the husband have to try and cripple Red? And BTW she did an amazing job doing dressage on a blind horse if you've seen it remember " Running blindfolded through traffic!"

I LOVE this movie! Its one of my favorites! Its about a woman named Annie who's sister was killed when they were younger. Her husband leaves her and her daughter, Taylor, with nothing but the horse. The horse gets sick unexpectedly and Annie gets a job at a stable. And I'm not going to say any more about it but its an AMAZING movie!!

Its about a mother and her daughter's adventure! Annie the mother and Taylor the daughter are left behind by the husband and father while he runs off with 2000 dollars! They sleep in the stall with their horse called Tolo who soon gets an illness that will change Annie and tollos' life!

This is a story of a woman who owns a beautiful black gelding. She is moving to California with her family of 3, husband, and daughter. Her husband has issues and leaves her and the daughter alone. They have no choice but to put a loan on her horse, Toloe. When she enters a prestige dressage event, Toloe is woken up one morning, blind. She is allowed to ride another horse and encounters many frustrations along the way.
This is a story of love, hope, faith and the bond some rare beings posses.
