Stormy, Misty's Foal is the book after Misty of Chincoteague. In this book, a huge storm slashes all of Assateague and Chincoteague islands. There is water everywhere, and wild ponies and humans must battle the storm to survive.

When the storm was going on Misty was ready to give birth to a foal. Paul and Maureen are very worried about Misty and the baby.

This is a true story of how the hurricane struck Assateague and how people used their love and strength to rebuild the wild herds of ponies living there.
