So, Nicky, I've gotten three books in this Spirit series, Sierra, Bonita and Esperanza at a used bookstore, but I'm sure we live far away... I'd suggest borrowing them from the library online or on a kindle if you own one.

Now, DevynHooper. There are currently four books out. Spirit, based on Spirit himself, Sierra, Rain's dame, Bonita, Sierra's dame, or if you prefer, Rain's gran dame, and Esperanza, Spirit's mother. :) Hope this helped.

Those are great prequel books before Spirit and Rain were born. If they were movies coming out into theaters three years in a row, they would beat the upcoming star wars movies.

Bonita, Sierra, and Esperanza are great horse prequels before Spirit and Rain were born. I'm hoping that they'd be made into animated movies someday and they would come out into theaters during the holidays at least three years in a row to beat the upcoming star wars movies.I also made up a sequel where Spirit and Rain have a buckskin pinto colt named Thunder, and this one would come out in the winter of 2015 to beat the upcoming 7th Star Wars movie by the time i reach 23.

Okay, so I love Kathleen Duey, but I'm having a hard time finding this book series. I looked on Barnes and Noble and they don't have a new copy available and I don't like to use Amazon or Ebay, because I never have before. Can someone please tell me where I can buy this book and the others in the series like Bonita?
