Second Chances

When Sunny is in a car accident which kills her dad and injures her, she gets really depressed. She and her mom move into a trailer park which is right next to a horse ranch. She sneaks over and falls in love with Ginger, who is practically a wild horse with a broken leg. In addition, she becomes emotionally withdrawn, reluctant to communicate with anyone around her. When she moves with her mother next door to a horse ranch run by former rodeo star Ben Taylor, Sunny develops a fondness for Ben and a mean crippled horse named Ginger, and she begins to make progress on the road to recovery.

Fantastic movie based on truth

This is a heart-wrenching story that fills your mind. It's mind blowing how two exactly the same grow together at first sight and help one another thru the toughest of times.

The funny part for me is ginger is supposed to be a female horse and its clearly obvious she's male. However, if I was to give a score out of 10, I would have to say 11. It's higher than the rating score.

Very well-portrayed, loved and brings you in touch with the lives of the characters. Very well done.

It is so touching and emotional, It made me cry. The girl and horse relate to each other and create a bond. I love she bought the horse for $5. It's a good one, watch it!

This movie is super sweet. it is about a girl who got in a car wreck with her mother and father and her mother is ok but her father dies and the girl has a very injured leg and has to have crutches and therapy.

Sunny,the 8 year old girl and her mom have to move to a trailer park after the father death because they can't afford their house. Sunny adventures around when her mom goes to work after fully moving in and finds Ben Taylor's Riding Academy filled with horses and young girls who barrel race.

Ben Taylor the owner of the riding academy is a trainer and former rodeo star who has a horse (Ginger) that was injured very bad in her legs and is wild and crazy around everyone. When Sunny ventures her way into Ginger's stall not knowing a thing about horses as Ben walks past he sees the girl and the horse and Ginger being calm and not rearing or bucking at all just letting the girl pet her.

A few days later a guy comes to pick up horses for the slaughter house and Ben suggests that Ginger would need to go because her leg was in such poor condition. Sunny catches Ben getting ready to sell the horse to the guy and says that she will buy Ginger for $4 because that was the exact amount of money she had in her pocket, and Ben says if the guy can lead her out of her stall but Ben knew he wouldn't and the horse through a fit and then Sunny goes in and leads her out and the horse is ever so gentle and calm.

As the story goes on the girl and the horse heal with each other through their leg injuries both heal and began barrel racing and competing against Melinda, a girl who has rode horses her whole life in the end the two girl became friends after Sunny helps Melinda.

Not a lot to say but watching this movie is just a gr8 uplifting experience. I've already watched it several times and everyone that I've told to watch it has said "Great movie", Wonder how close to the real story the movie really is.

She walks do some random horse ranch and meets a horse named Ginger and falls in love with the horse. She soon is able to walk and begs her mom to ride. Will she be able to ride? OMG! This movie is so heart warming! I loved it loads! && for those who disliked honestly how can you be true horse lovers? I freaked out when ginger had that fall! Bloody hell! Okay, so those of you interested, you can watch it instantly (online) at Netflix.com if you have netflix.

I started this movie, got about 5 minutes into it and couldn't watch another moment, bad acting and a completely implausible situation. May be cute for young kids, but there are much higher quality horse movies out there.

AN AMAZING,HEARTWARMING MOVIE!

So I saw this movie when i was like 7 right when it came out probably like enough times even my parents who didn't really watch could replay it for you without problem!...But then like it stopped coming on TV and I couldn't not find it ANYWHERE so I ordered it and tell everyone to watch it...!
