This was a cute and easy horse Halloween costume idea shared by Carrie. Here we asked her how she made it:

How did you come up with your costume idea? Our boys have been super into Star Wars this year. So our friend made their costumes for us. Since Lucy's front legs are already white, we went with the classic Princess Leia look.

How did you make it?
A friend made the child's costume and I used crochet to make her buns, a sheet tied as a dress, and the sign was made from a pizza box.

How much does it cost?
Maybe $5

Where did you wear it?
We always support our local horse show and costume contest for Walking n Circles Rescue and Ranch in New Mexico.

How did people react?
People loved our sign and said how impressed they were that our pony tolerated the sheet and sign on her.

How did your horse like it?
She did really well. No spooking at all, even on our dress rehearsal day.
