Here's how to make thiseasy horse Halloween costume, from Ashlee:

How did you make it?

I borrowed the blue hood from a friend. Then I used a red and white beach towel to complete the flag look. The hat and other accessories were purchased on sale after the 4th of July.

How much does it cost?

About $30 not including the hood.

Where did you wear it?

My barn

How did people react?

They took lots of pictures and we got lots of compliments!

How did your horse like it?

She was such a good sport and soaked up all the attention.
