Horse Diaries is a new series published by Random House. The 5th book entitled Golden Sun is about an Appaloosa.

His story is set with the Nez Perce Indians in the 1800's. The horse tells about his adventures with his boy, who wants to become a healer and goes on a vision quest to find his spirit guide.

Each book is about a different breed of horse, in a historical setting and told from the horse's point of view. There are Morgan, Quarter Horse, Lipizzaner, Icelandic and Arabian stories with more to come.

These books are good. When I discovered them, though, I only got through one. They're really quick reads and I the text is kind of big. It was very easy for me.

I don't blame others for reading these, though! They're really good stories and they're well written.

I really like these! They are like the modern versions of Black Beauty. I really recommend these! These were my favorite books when I was 9 and 10!

Read the Hoofbeat Quests! It's SO GOOD! Read a snip-it of it on Amazon.com. Horse diaries are fine, but compared to the Hoofbeat Quests...

The Hoofbeat Quests is about a horse named Chester, who is the prince of all the herds united, but doesn't know it till he's followed and hunted by several different horses seeking his blood.

It's so great! I know it's description sound's lame, but it's not, I promise! I'd say only readers 12 and up should read it though. It does get a little intense... But I LOVE it!!!

I really love this book series but I wish that they could be longer and with a higher reading exile since I'm an advanced reader. These books are just too easy for me but I love reading them though!

I have read only two of the books and I own one. I own the recent book in the series Luna which is the twelfth book, and I have read Elska. I will hunt down the rest and read them forever. Ready for book 13!

The first book in the horse diaries series was one of my favorite books since i was about 8. I hope other readers get to enjoy it, as the series is available at most book stores and libraries.

in my opinion I personally LOVE the book number 8 about a racing thoroughbred named risky chance and how he won 8 stakes races in a row then an accident and injury causes him to become a claim horse and he experiences the other side of the racing world.

When I was growing up, I always loved hearing stories come out of a horse's mouth. Speaking of which, I decided to get the horse diaries book collection this year which is on my christmas list. I realized that as soon as i finish reading each and everyone of the horses' stories, I'm hoping that they would be made into horse motion pictures someday and best of all, I also gave each and everyone of them their narrating voices by some of my favorite actors and actresses.

I LOVE this series! It shows diferent breeds of horses, and what their lives are like. It tells the stories in the horses' point of view, which makes the books all better! THE best horse books I have ever read! I can't wait for the next book in the series, Tennase Rose!

I have the first book in the Horse Diaries series - Elska. It looks like a great series for younger readers. It tells the story of a silver dapple Icelandic filly named Elska. The book is told from her viewpoint - clever!

hi i am definitely a lover of the horse diaries series. it is so good and i can't wait 4 the new one to come out it is about a thoroughbred horse.
the series is awesome anyone who loves horses and reads it will fall in love with the many new horses and people in the story.

This series is about lots of horses and their stories. This series is a good way to learn about the horses point of view. Like the bit was hard in MY mouth. see? don't miss this series! Any horse crazy girl will LOVE this series. Available at all libraries. DON'T MISS IT!

this series is great for horse lovers. I am reading Yahtima right now, the one about the Arabian horse. I love how it is from a horse's point of view.
