OMG! This novel is just like the situation I had with the special bond. But I didn't own the horse though I rode every time I went up to the yard I work at, but then she got sold a week brfore my b-day and soo I didn't get to see her on the b-day :(But I think of her everyday tho. We were sooo close I could tell her anything I wanted and I trusted her like crazy! :) But yeah I know how Mouse feels to have that special bond :)

I don't know the book, I only wanted to say that I also once was the only person a thoroughbred called Dancer tolerated. He got sold off though 'cause he didn't seem to like lessons ;((((((((((((((((
