Oooooh, and the plot grows thicker! Excellent! The introduction of Tyler and the race has definitely amped this story up a bit. The section in the tack shop felt a little flat and emotionless (from "Ten minutes later..." to "I grab a black one and an English bridle...") It's a very short section, but somehow it just didn't work. I am, however, the queen of writing aimless scenes (not just a paragraph like you did, but whole chapters of the stuff) so you are welcome to howl at me that I am a hypocrite and hit me over the head with a manuscript if you like.

Well written, Kelsei. I simply can't wait to see what happens next! (Part 3 was well done, too, sorry I didn't comment there). Thanks for sharing.
