This was one of the cute horse costumes for Halloween submitted in our first contest. Ashley explained how she made it:
How I came up with the idea, was that my friend wanted her daughter to start riding, so with Halloween coming up I figured it would be a good idea to let her ride with me for the costume class, to get a feel. Despicable Me has to be one of my favorite movies in the world! And I thought it would work perfectly with my friend's mare, Bells.
I used poster board and spray paint for her horn. Went to Salvation Army and found pretty much all of our clothes. Instead of dying her mane and tail pink, I just braided pink boas in them, to give the idea that they were pink. I spray painted bell boots to give the feel she had pink hooves and there is a minion attached to the back of the saddle you just can't see it.
