Well no horse is really ever mean, it's really quite rare to find a horse that's MEAN, usually something happens to a horse or something is hurting him horses have bad days too!
the trainer sounds quite cruel i mean pouring water over the horses face and tying up his back legs thats pretty cruel! I don't know what the horse has done but he probably does not deserve to have water pored over his face!
Why is the gelding mean anyway? And i agree with the others you should probably report this trainer.
