This is brilliant! Between you and "True Dreams", a lot of excellent fantasies are appearing on this site! Please please please write more! One small point - at one stage I was slightly confused about whose ear was disappearing, the protagonist stallion, or the red-eyed, magical horse. Also, where did the golden rod come from? It'll take just a few words to clear those up, it's nothing major. This is an absolutely commendable story, and I loved how the tiny feather split the rock... Just brilliant. Please write more!
