When I saw that filly fall I knew it was over. For her, and for my dreams. I watched in horror as they replayed that sad, sad, Kentucky Derby. I cried all night and swore that I would never again watch a Kentucky Durby. The way her ankles just snapped was sickening. I really miss that filly. When I get a horse I am going to name her Eight Belles in honor of my 2nd favorite racehorse.

BOOHOOHOO by: Emilyy
I am so sad. That is such a beautiful poem. That horse truly and sincerly wanted to win. That horse had a heart of destiny and a mind love and passion.I believe that horse was not just pretty in looks, but also beautiful in the soul.

Whoa... by: Windcall
Whoa... Whoa.... Whoa..... Whoa...... Again I say, Whoa.......
This poem is beautiful! I am still stunned. I got on here to check for any new comments on my pages and stories, and I end up staring at the screen, silently gasping in awe. I submitted this name to Horse Names, but I didn't really think anything else about it until now. That poem is just--well, touching! It really makes you appreciate your horses, or at least the horses you know and love. If you don't mind, I plan to copy and paste this poem to my files, and hopefully send it to some friends. I have written some songs, and I could hear a tune for this poem going through my head as I read this beautiful creation.
OK, this comment is huge. Thank you so much for submitting this!
