Don't feel bad about not having a horse, because last night I sent my parents a letter too! My parents know I am fully responsible and they know I am a GREAT lover of horses. The problem is, we don't have quite enough room. But my dad has some land of his own that he bought of his friend. I thought maybe he could let me look after a horse there. He would have no problem with that because he just wants me to be happy. Im not disappointed or anything, I asked for a horse for my birthday and for Christmas put together. My mom and dad say it's not a yes or no question. So I don't know if I am allowed one yet, but good luck!

do you have horse faulicities? by: Katie
Hi!! maybe a idea to get some money is to look around for a horsebarn that will take people to work for them, that way, since you love horses, you could be around them and get paid for helping out!
hope this helps!!

Before you should get your own horse I would say to take at least a year of horse riding lessons. That way you at least you know how to ride. If you've already done that then all you need is start looking at horses online for sale and show them the ones you want. Then maybe they'll at least know more of what kind and things. What I did was also made goals and aspirations with horse back riding in my life and that convinced my dad to get me one. Maybe try that too!
