I think western's also good for nervous people learning how to trot, they can hold the pommel horn! Plus, western saddles and bridles are much more gorgeous than ENGLISH.

English Riding Shouldn't be Boring by: Sierra
I ride English and it's not boring at all...but I jump and that's fun! I've ridden Western too at camp and on trail rides. Anything with horses is great.

Im confused?... by: Horserider
Okay... I'm confused! I started riding English last summer.(I started out western) And its March now and were already doing jumping courses! But if you have been riding English 4 years wouldn't you be doing more than *walking and trotting?* I'm just wondering...
Anyway, one more thing...I ride both English and western. But i'm not really as good at western as I am English. Lol but i guess if you want to be a real cowgirl then ride western!
